In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.įuneral services will be held on Thursday, June 27, at 10 a.m. Alderman and his wife, Cindy, of Joplin, and Timothy Alderman, of Joplin nine grandchildren, Nikki, Tiffany, Kristopher, Matthew, Samuel, Timothy, and Whitney, Jason and Joe 19 great-grandchildren one sister, Sandra Fricks, of Wichita and one sister-in-law, Donna Alderman, of Portland, OR. Survivors include his wife, Freda Alderman, of Joplin four sons, Richard Alderman and his wife, Diane, of Tulsa, Bert Alderman, of Joplin, Glenn E. He was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. Glenn was previously employed as a custodian for Fleming Foods and Freeman Hospital. In December of 1955 he and Freda were united in marriage. On a summer vacation trip, he returned to the area and that is when he met Freda Morris and he never returned to Chicago. After graduation, Glenn left Joplin and moved to Chicago for work. He was a graduate of Joplin High School, class of 1950. Alderman, son of the late Irwin and Mable (Leach) Alderman, was born on June 28, 1932, in Joplin. Glenn Caroll Alderman, age 86, of Joplin, MO, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at his home surrounded by family.
